Show Boat
About This Machine
The Show Boat pinball machine, manufactured by United Manufacturing Company and dated January 1949, is a single-player electro-mechanical (EM) machine. Beyond its manufacturer and date, very little is documented about this particular release -- no confirmed details are available on its specific features, theme, designer, or artist.
United Manufacturing Company was an active producer of EM pinball and bingo-style machines throughout the 1940s and 1950s, and this Show Boat entry sits within that broader output. Because so little specific documentation survives for this machine, much about its gameplay and design remains unknown.
For collectors and historians, this Show Boat represents one of the more obscure entries in United's catalog -- a reminder of how much of early pinball history remains incompletely documented.
