About This Machine

Meet Mini Pool, a vintage add-a-ball pinball machine from August 1969, produced by Gottlieb with 500 confirmed units built. As an electro-mechanical (EM) machine designed by Ed Krynski with art by Art Stenholm, Mini Pool represents Gottlieb's approach to themed single-player games during this period. A replay version of the same game was released as 'Target Pool,' and it was exported to Italy under the name 'Bumper Pool.'

Mini Pool's gameplay features two flippers, one pop bumper, 27 targets, and two slingshot kickers in the upper playfield. The machine's billiards theme is executed through its playfield design and artwork.

While there may not be extensive documentation available for Mini Pool, its historical context as part of Gottlieb's single-player EM lineup and its later replay and export variants make it an interesting addition to any serious pinball collection or exhibition.
