About This Machine

Lazy-Q, manufactured by Williams in 1953, is a single-player electro-mechanical pinball machine with a Western theme. It was designed by Harry Williams, with artwork by George Molentin.

Lazy-Q's gameplay centers on its two flippers, four pop bumpers, and three kick-out holes. Players use the flippers to control the ball's trajectory and aim for the pop bumpers and kick-out holes, timing their shots to maximize scores. Like other EM machines of the era, it relies on relays and solenoids to manage gameplay mechanics and scoring.

The Western theme is expressed through the machine's cabinet and backglass artwork by George Molentin. Little further production or historical detail has survived for Lazy-Q, but it remains a representative example of early-1950s Williams pinball design.
