Lady Luck
About This Machine
Lady Luck is an electro-mechanical pinball machine from Recel S. A., a Spanish manufacturer that operated from 1974 to 1986, released in November 1976. As an early title from this relatively short-lived manufacturer, Lady Luck offers insight into Recel's four-player EM output during the mid-1970s.
The gameplay of Lady Luck is built around two flippers and an array of targets, including pop bumpers, slingshots, eight stand-up targets, five star rollovers, and a messenger ball. An end-of-ball bonus rewards players for building up value across these features, adding a layer of strategy to the game.
The machine's theme, centered on cards and gambling, is reflected in its artwork and model number 1045-0. Recel also produced a one-player version of this game under the title 'Fortune,' released the same year. As a card/gambling-themed EM title, Lady Luck represents Recel's contribution to Spanish pinball manufacturing during the mid-1970s.
