Karate Fight
About This Machine
Karate Fight, designed by Dan Langlois and produced by Bally Wulff of Germany beginning in June 1986, is a four-player, solid-state, martial-arts-themed pinball machine -- one of two different pinball machines to carry the name 'Karate Fight,' the other being a separate Bally Midway release from the same year.
Gameplay is built around four flippers, two pop bumpers, and a mushroom bumper, along with a mix of 3-bank standup and drop targets (the drop targets have standup targets positioned behind them), three rollunders, two kick-out holes, a spinning target, a ball kicker, and a right outlane detour gate. The machine runs on a Bally MPU A084-91786-AH06 (6803) board.
Specific details of Karate Fight's backglass and cabinet artwork are not well documented, and this Bally Wulff release remains a relatively obscure entry compared to its better-known American counterparts from the same period.
