The Hurricane is a 1991 pinball machine that showcases the design and features typical of Williams during this period. Designed by Barry Oursler at Williams Electronics Games, this solid-state electronic (SS) machine stands out for its blend of carnival-themed gameplay and mechanical features.

One of the key features that sets Hurricane apart is its 3-ball multiball mode, which combines with a variety of other exciting elements such as rotating Ferris wheels, a ball popper called "The Juggler," and a mechanical backbox animation featuring a large spinning disc. Players will also encounter standup targets, ramps, and pop bumpers that add to the machine's dynamic gameplay experience. The rotating Ferris wheels, which each carry the ball for part of their rotation, had appeared earlier on Williams' 1988 'Cyclone'.
