Zen Nippon Pro-Wres Featuring Virtua (J 971123 V1.000)

Step into the squared circle with Zen Nippon Pro-Wres Featuring Virtua, a wrestling game released in Japan by Sega in late 1997. This title allows up to four players to compete against each other, recreating matches from All Japan Pro Wrestling, one of Japan’s premier wrestling organizations founded in 1972. Players control their chosen wrestlers using an eight-way joystick and six buttons to execute a variety of moves and grapple for victory. The game puts you in the role of a professional wrestler within the renowned All Japan Pro Wrestling promotion, known for its top talent. Matches are presented with detailed graphics leveraging Sega’s ST-V hardware. Zen Nippon Pro-Wres Featuring Virtua is the first entry in a series that would later include Giant Gram 2 and Giant Gram 2000, continuing to showcase All Japan Pro Wrestling stars. A version of the game was also released for the Sega Saturn console in Japan.
