Gameplay

This two-player puzzle game, known as Zintrick in some regions and Oshidashi Zentrix elsewhere, is a bootleg arcade conversion of a Neo-Geo CD exclusive title released by SNK in 1996. Players control characters using an eight-way joystick to manipulate objects on screen and strategically launch them toward targets. The gameplay revolves around spinning, shooting, and utilizing special attacks – each character having slightly different button assignments for these actions depending on the game mode selected. The mechanics involve a unique "toss" element where players must carefully aim and execute launches to clear obstacles or hit opponents’ pieces. A hidden sequence allows players to select Ryu Eagle (a ninja character) at the start of a game, adding a layer of discovery for those familiar with arcade secrets. Built on SNK's Neo-Geo MVS hardware, Zintrick offers a distinct visual style and puzzling challenges for cooperative or competitive play.
