Zero Point 2
Unico • 1999

Unico’s Zero Point 2 arrived in arcades in April 1999 as the sequel to the original Zero Point. This two-player shooter challenges players with light guns to blast their way through a series of onscreen targets. The game utilizes a horizontal screen resolution of 384x224 pixels and boasts a vibrant palette of over eight thousand colors. Gameplay involves aiming and firing at appearing enemies and obstacles, requiring quick reflexes and accuracy. A single "SHOOT" button controls the action for each player, making precision key to success. The game's sound is produced by a combination of Yamaha YM2151, OKI6295, and another OKI6295 chip, creating an immersive audio experience alongside the visual spectacle. Zero Point 2 runs on a Motorola 68EC020 processor and represents a continuation of Unico’s shooter series with its unique light-gun control scheme.
