Wizard Fire (Over Sea v2.1)

Data East Corporation’s Wizard Fire (Over Sea v2.1) arrived in US arcades in May 1992 as an export release. This two-player fighting game presents a 2.5D perspective where characters battle across layered backgrounds, adding depth to the combat. Players select from a roster of spellcasters and engage in close-quarters duels utilizing a variety of magical attacks and special moves. The gameplay emphasizes strategic positioning and mastering each character’s unique abilities to overcome opponents. Wizard Fire is part of a series that began with Gate of Doom, and is related to the original Japanese version, Dark Seal II. The game's technical specifications include PCB number 520-0144-00. A console port of Wizard Fire was later included in the Nintendo Wii compilation Data East Arcade Classics and also appeared on the Zeebo platform.
