World Heroes 2 (ALM-006 ~ ALH-006)

Step into the arena in World Heroes 2, a fast-paced fighting game for two players released by ADK in 1993. Drawing inspiration from historical figures and pop culture alike, fourteen distinct characters—ranging from a Roman gladiator to a ninja—battle across varied stages with the goal of depleting their opponent's energy meter. Players utilize an eight-way joystick and three attack buttons – punch, kick, and body slam – to execute strikes and special moves. Beyond standard fights, a "death match" mode offers unique scenarios, including one infamous ring where the loser faces a comical haircut. Running on SNK’s Neo-Geo MVS hardware, World Heroes 2 delivers crisp visuals and energetic music that perfectly complements the frantic action.
