Wonder Boy (set 1, 315-5177)

Players control Wonder Boy and his companion Tom in this cooperative platform and shooter scrolling game released in 1986 by Escape under license from Sega. The gameplay involves navigating a series of interconnected environments, rescuing animals and collecting items to progress. Players encounter enemies that must be defeated with projectiles while also avoiding obstacles and hazards within the scrolling levels. This version represents a re-release utilizing Sega’s "System 1" hardware. Though familiar to those acquainted with earlier installments in the Wonder Boy franchise, this particular iteration provides its own distinct experience. Two players can participate simultaneously, coordinating their actions as they venture through the game's challenges together.
