Wardner is a cooperative platform game released in 1987 by Toaplan and published by Taito Corporation in Japan. Two players control characters who navigate scrolling environments, battling enemies encountered along the way. The gameplay combines elements of platforming with fighting-game style action as players jump, attack, and work together to progress through each stage. This arcade title is an export release developed in Japan originally under the name "Wardner no Mori." While a version for the Nintendo Entertainment System was considered, it remained an unreleased prototype. Players will find themselves facing diverse challenges within the game’s scrolling levels, requiring coordination and skillful use of each character's abilities to overcome obstacles and defeat foes.
