Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire is a two-player fighting game released by Capcom in 1997. Running on the CPS-II hardware platform, this title builds upon the foundation established by its Japanese predecessor, “Vampire Savior.” Players select from a cast of supernatural characters—including the reimagined Bulleta (known as B.B. Hood in export versions), Lei-Lei (Hsien-Ko), and Gallon (Jon Talbain)—to engage in close-quarters combat against one another. The gameplay focuses on dynamic fighting sequences utilizing various special moves and combos to deplete an opponent’s health bar. Each character possesses a distinct fighting style, encouraging varied approaches to matches. This European release represents Capcom's adaptation of the original Japanese version for Western audiences, introducing localized names for some characters. Later ports of this game appeared on Sony PlayStation consoles in North America and Europe, as well as digitally through Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network as part of the “Darkstalkers Resurrection” compilation.
