Vasara
Visco • 2000

Visco’s Vasara, released in 2000, is a cooperative flying shooter for two players. As one of three selectable characters, you'll navigate through vertically scrolling levels facing waves of enemies and challenging bosses. The game features a distinctive manga-inspired visual style, complete with animated cut scenes that advance the narrative. Players control their character using an 8-way joystick and two buttons, maneuvering to dodge projectiles and unleash attacks against increasingly difficult opposition. Success in Vasara requires coordinated teamwork, as players must work together to overcome obstacles and achieve different endings depending on how they progress through stage five. This title is the first installment in a series, followed by Vasara 2 in 2001, and utilizes a V60 central processing unit alongside an ES5506 sound chip to deliver its gameplay experience.
