Thunder Hoop is a cooperative platform and shooter game released in 1992 by Gaelco. Players work together to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies while ascending through various levels, ultimately aiming to confront Dr. GenBrain. Gameplay involves utilizing an eight-way joystick to navigate ladders and platforms, with buttons used for shooting at on-screen adversaries encountered along the way. The game's structure features a series of stages culminating in boss battles, requiring coordinated effort between players to succeed. Character graphics were designed by Javier Arrebola, while Tony Yeste created the scenery. Thunder Hoop marked the first installment in a series that would later include TH Strikes Back. Powered by a Motorola 68000 processor and featuring sound design from Joan Sanmarti, Thunder Hoop provides a scrolling action experience for up to two players.
