Team Hat Trick (11/16/84)

Team Hat Trick is a four-player hockey game released in 1985 by Bally/Sente. Players control individual skaters attempting to score goals against an opposing team on a side view of the ice rink. Cooperative play is essential as players must pass, shoot and defend their net while maneuvering around opponents. The gameplay emphasizes teamwork and coordination to advance the puck down the ice and create scoring opportunities. The game’s design allows for simultaneous action from all four players on each team, resulting in a fast-paced and chaotic hockey experience. Players will find themselves reacting quickly to both offensive attacks and defensive challenges as they strive to outscore their rivals. It's a straightforward sports title built around the fundamentals of arcade hockey. Published over four decades ago, Team Hat Trick provides a glimpse into early arcade depictions of team sports.
