Also known as: TouchDown Fever 2

Experience gridiron action in TouchDown Fever, a four-player football game released by SNK in 1987. Players control individual offensive players and work together to advance downfield and score touchdowns against their opponents. Utilizing simple dial controls, each player manages their character’s movement and actions within the play, aiming for passes, runs, and strategic maneuvers to outwit the opposing team. This sports title features a straightforward gameplay loop focused on cooperative teamwork and quick decision-making during simulated football plays. With two Zilog Z80 processors handling both game logic and sound, TouchDown Fever delivers energetic audio driven by Yamaha YM3526 and Y8950 sound chips, enhancing the excitement of each play. A sequel, Touch Down Fever II, followed a year later. The game was initially released in January 1987 and would later be ported to the Nintendo Famicom console. Each player uses two buttons for their actions as they strive toward victory on the virtual field.
