Also known as: 3-D Thunder Ceptor II

Piloting a futuristic interceptor craft, players maneuver across the screen in Thunder Ceptor, a one-player flying shooter released by Namco in 1986. The game presents a chase view as you attempt to thwart an unseen enemy force. Using a joystick and four buttons, you’ll navigate your aircraft, dodging obstacles and engaging targets with limited weaponry. Thunder Ceptor features a unique combination of processors for its visuals and audio, resulting in detailed graphics and memorable sound design. A sequel, Thunder Ceptor II, appeared later the same year. The game's soundtrack, composed by Norio Nakagata, is particularly noteworthy and frequently remembered by players even decades after its release.
