Gameplay

Twin Bee Yahhoo!, released in 1995 by Konami, is a vibrant and accessible vertical scrolling shooter designed for up to four players simultaneously. Before beginning, players select from three difficulty levels – Practice, Normal, and Special – each offering varying stage counts and challenges. Customizable gameplay extends to shot selection, allowing you to choose between a standard charge shot, punch, split beam, or an eight-way explosion attack. Control styles also offer player choice between single-button or dual-button configurations for shooting and bombing. Gameplay centers around navigating colorful stages while collecting power-ups represented by both falling bells (changing color to affect attributes) and ground-based items. Returning is the GwinBee assist, enabling cooperative twin attacks with other players. Destroying enemies yields rewards, contributing to an engaging experience suitable for both newcomers and seasoned shmup fans. Known outside of Japan as “Magical Twin Bee!”, this arcade title delivers a cheerful and cooperative shooter experience on Konami’s GX hardware.
