Super Xevious

Piloting your spacecraft through layered landscapes, Super Xevious presents a challenging update to the classic vertical shooter, Xevious. As one of two players, you navigate through familiar terrain while encountering new enemy types including jets and tanks, some offering bonus points if collected but resetting your score if destroyed. The game retains the original’s graphical style and background image, offering a nostalgic feel with updated gameplay elements and altered locations for hidden objectives. Players utilize a zapper to target enemies and a blaster for ranged attacks as they ascend through the levels, battling familiar foes alongside these new additions. A unique Easter egg allows observant players to reveal a message from the game's designer by performing a specific sequence at the start of play. Super Xevious builds upon its predecessor’s foundation with increased difficulty and fresh surprises.
