Visco’s Storm Blade is a two-player vertical scrolling shooter released in 1996. Players pilot customizable aircraft through increasingly challenging levels filled with enemy formations and powerful bosses. Movement relies on an eight-way joystick for precise navigation while buttons control firing. The game features multiple selectable planes, each offering slightly different performance characteristics accessible via a title screen trick. The gameplay emphasizes fast-paced aerial combat where players must maneuver to dodge projectiles and defeat waves of adversaries. Programmed by Nadu.S and others, Storm Blade’s visuals are complemented by music composed by Light Link Music, contributing to the intense atmosphere. Character designs were created by Tajiman and a team of artists including Wep and Zero Nyan. Featuring a cast that includes Lucky, Alex, and Camel, Storm Blade provides cooperative gameplay for two players, challenging them to work together or compete as they battle through a series of perilous environments.
