Sorcer Striker is a two-player vertical scrolling shooter released by Raizing in 1993. Originally known as "Mahou Daisakusen" in Japan, this export version challenges players to navigate through increasingly difficult levels while battling waves of enemies and powerful bosses. As pilots of advanced magical fighter craft, you’ll maneuver upwards, firing projectiles and deploying special abilities to survive the onslaught. The game features a series that would later include Kingdom Grandprix and Dimahoo [Blue Board]. Cooperative gameplay allows for two players to simultaneously control their aircraft, coordinating attacks and providing mutual support against the relentless enemy forces. The focus is on skillful dodging and strategic use of weaponry to overcome challenging scenarios. Sorcer Striker offers a fast-paced experience with vibrant visuals and engaging gameplay that exemplifies the shooting genre’s style from the early 1990s.
