Sky Fox

Sky Fox is a single-player shooter released in 1987 by Jaleco under license from Nichibutsu. Originally known as "Exerizer" in Japan, this gallery-style game challenges players to navigate through a series of scrolling environments and eliminate enemy formations. The player controls a flying vehicle, maneuvering it to destroy waves of approaching targets with a forward-firing weapon – there is no traditional dodging or lateral movement available. The gameplay emphasizes precision and strategic positioning as the player confronts increasingly complex patterns of adversaries. Sky Fox builds upon earlier games in the Exerion series, offering a similar core mechanic but presenting it within a distinct visual style. Released in April 1987, this arcade title provides a focused shooting experience for solo players.
