Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha (Asia 960826)
Capcom • 1996

Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha is an enhanced version of Capcom’s fighting game originally released in Japan and other regions as Street Fighter Zero 2. Two players select from a roster of familiar fighters and battle through various stages using six attack buttons per character – light, medium, and heavy punches and kicks – along with directional joystick movements for special moves and combos. This iteration introduces new gameplay modes such as Dramatic Battle (a two-versus-one scenario), Survival mode, and the challenging Shin Akuma boss fight. Players can also unlock alternate costumes and stages through specific start screen input sequences, offering additional replayability beyond the standard competitive matches.
