Street Fighter II': Hyper Fighting (World 921209)
Capcom • 1992
Also known as: Street Fighter II' Turbo: Hyper Fighting

Street Fighter II': Hyper Fighting is a two-player versus fighting game released by Capcom in 1992. Building upon the revolutionary gameplay of its predecessors, this iteration introduced new special moves and faster overall action for both returning and newly added characters. Players choose from a roster of martial artists like Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Guile, then engage in one-on-one battles across a variety of global stages. The core objective involves depleting your opponent's health bar through strategic use of punches, kicks, throws, and special attacks—all while managing defensive maneuvers to avoid taking damage yourself. Hyper Fighting maintains the series’ signature six-button control scheme, requiring precise timing and execution to master each character’s unique fighting style. This version was initially released outside of Japan as an export title, and is known in its home market as "Street Fighter II' Turbo - Hyper Fighting." While numerous ports have appeared on various consoles and handheld devices worldwide, this arcade release represents the original experience with Capcom’s CP-S hardware.
