Rumba Lumber (rev 1)

Players navigate twisting mazes in Rumba Lumber, a cooperative maze and collection game from Taito released in Japan during September of 1985. Two players control lumberjacks who must work together to gather logs scattered throughout the environment while avoiding patrolling guards. Successfully collecting all the logs on a stage advances the gameplay to the next increasingly complex level. The title screen displays “MCMLXXXIV,” which is the Roman numeral representation of 1984, despite the game’s later release date.
