Navigate treacherous roads in Roads Edge / Round Trip RV, a driving game released by SNK in 1997 for their Hyper NeoGeo 64 platform. Players take control of SUVs from a chase-view perspective, tackling four distinct courses while striving to reach the finish line. A selection of vehicle colors and selectable soundtracks add variety to each playthrough. The single-player experience offers challenging races, and players can discover hidden content through specific button combinations on the transmission select screen. These actions unlock alternate camera views and reveal secret vehicles themed after sushi – including an Ebi Car, Toro Car, Tamago Car, and Ikura Car – accessed via a unique musical sequence. Beyond the standard controls of an eight-way joystick and four buttons, Roads Edge / Round Trip RV also features internal seat vibration to enhance the sense of speed and immersion as you race towards the finish line.
