Step into the ring with Ring Rage, a four-player wrestling game released by Taito Corporation in 1992. Players choose from eight unique digitized wrestlers and compete in various match types including tag team tournaments, Royal Rumble events, and survival modes. Using a simple control scheme of two buttons – punch and kick – players execute moves to defeat their opponents and advance through the competition. Ring Rage runs on Taito’s F3 system hardware and offers a straightforward wrestling experience focused on player interaction. The horizontal screen displays the action as wrestlers grapple and battle for supremacy. A version released in the United States features an anti-drug message displayed during gameplay. The game's design allows for chaotic, collaborative matches with up to four players simultaneously vying for victory in the squared circle. A Game Boy port of Ring Rage was also later released.
