Real Bout Fatal Fury Special / Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special

Real Bout Fatal Fury Special pits two players against each other in intense one-on-one fighting action. This SNK arcade title expands upon the established Fatal Fury universe, featuring a roster of nineteen selectable characters including newcomers Cheng Sinzan, Tung Fu Rue, Laurence Blood, and Wolfgang Krauser—along with “evil” versions of several familiar faces. The gameplay retains the series’ signature blend of punches, kicks, and powerful attacks, but refines the plane-switching mechanic for more dynamic engagements. Instead of ringouts, characters are sent reeling by breaking background objects, resulting in a dizzying effect on their opponent. A unique system allows players to unlock hidden content like comical outtakes during the credits with repeated victories and special codes can be entered to fight against powerful opponents or unlock alternate character versions.
