Quiz Theater - 3tsu no Monogatari (Ver 2.3J 1994/11/10)
Taito Corporation • 1994

Quiz Theater - 3tsu no Monogatari is a four-player quiz game released by Taito Corporation in November 1994. Players utilize an eight-way joystick and four buttons to navigate questions presented entirely in Japanese. The subtitle of the game translates from Japanese as "Story of Three," hinting at a narrative element integrated into the quiz format. Developed using Taito’s F3 system hardware, this title represents the first project for some staff who had previously worked with Hot-B, a sub-company of Taito Japan. The game challenges players to test their knowledge across various subjects through a series of questions. Built upon earlier titles in a quiz series, Quiz Theater offers an interactive and competitive experience for up to four participants simultaneously. A limited edition soundtrack album featuring music composed by Naoto Yagishita was released years later as part of the ZUNTATA Rare Selection compilation. Graphics were handled by staff from VAP, with special acknowledgements given to Karu, BABI, and Taito VG Tokyo Production for their contributions.
