Pro Sports - Bowling, Tennis, and Golf
Data East Corporation • 1983

Challenge your friend to a three-sport showdown in Data East’s Pro Sports, released in 1983. This two-player arcade game combines bowling, tennis, and golf into a single vertical cabinet experience. Players alternate between these disciplines, striving for high scores across each activity using an eight-way joystick and two buttons to control their actions. In bowling, aim carefully and release the ball to knock down pins; during tennis, return volleys with precision while anticipating your opponent's shots; finally, in golf, time your swings to send the ball toward the hole. The game’s graphics utilize a 256-color palette displayed at a resolution of 240x256 pixels and refreshed at 60 hertz. Pro Sports runs on a Data East DECO processor and features sound generated by an MOS Technology M6502 alongside two General Instrument AY8910 chips, creating the audio backdrop for your sporting competition.
