Plotting (World set 1)
Taito Corporation Japan • 1989
Also known as: Flipull

Taito’s Plotting, released in 1989, presents a unique cooperative puzzle challenge for two players. Using a launching mechanism, players must strategically toss weighted discs to knock down various targets arranged on a playing field. Success requires careful aim and coordination between partners; misjudged throws can easily lead to frustrating setbacks as targets fall unexpectedly. The game’s design reflects an export version of the Japanese title Flipull, featuring a notable anti-drug message displayed during gameplay. Built using Taito's L System hardware, Plotting offers a simple premise with increasingly complex level designs designed to test players' precision and teamwork. While originally found in arcades, Plotting has seen numerous ports across various platforms including consoles like the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, as well as handheld devices such as the Game Boy, and home computers like the Commodore 64.
