Gameplay

Pinbo is a two-player arcade game released by Jaleco in 1984 that blends pinball action with mini-game challenges. Players use an eight-way joystick to control their flippers and attempt to manipulate the ball around the playfield, aiming for bonuses and scoring multipliers. The gameplay isn't solely focused on traditional pinball; interspersed throughout are brief diversions – unique mini-games which offer a change of pace from the core mechanics. Two players can compete simultaneously, vying for the highest score while navigating the interactive pinball environment. The game’s sound is produced by a Zilog Z80 processor and two General Instrument AY8910 chips. A version released by Strike appeared in 1985; this was a bootleg copy of the original Jaleco title.
