Panic Bomber
Eighting / Hudson • 1994

Panic Bomber is a two-player puzzle game released in 1994 by Eighting and Hudson. Players control characters that drop bombs to clear blocks on a confined stage. The objective involves strategic bomb placement to eliminate all obstacles while avoiding explosions from both your own and your opponent's actions. A single button allows players to alter their bomber’s formation, adding another layer of tactical consideration. Originally released as "Panic Bomber - Bomber Man" for the PC-Engine CD, this arcade version runs on SNK’s Neo-Geo MVS hardware. The game utilizes an 8-way joystick for precise movement and bomb placement. It was published in January 1995 but did not see a home release on the Neo-Geo AES console. Gameplay requires careful planning and quick reflexes as players compete to clear the stage most effectively, creating a fun and engaging challenge for two simultaneous participants.
