Gameplay

Take to the skies in P-47 Aces, a cooperative flying shooter released by Jaleco in 1995. Players control powerful P-47 fighter planes as they battle through enemy formations and fortifications across multiple stages. Using an eight-way joystick and two buttons for firing, players maneuver their aircraft horizontally while dodging attacks and targeting specific points within the environments to maximize their score. Developed by Nihon Maicom Kaihatsu (NMK) and featuring sound design from Manabu Namiki, P-47 Aces builds upon the foundation of earlier titles in the series, such as P-47 - The Phantom Fighter. This version is built on Jaleco’s Mega System 32 hardware and allows for two players to team up against the enemy. Successfully navigating each level requires skill and coordination, as players must work together to overcome waves of adversaries and achieve a high score.
