Operation Wolf 3 (World)

In Operation Wolf 3 (World), two players take on the role of elite agents tasked by the United Nations to dismantle a terrorist organization known as SKULL, who have seized control of an island and armed themselves with nuclear missiles. Using light guns, players navigate five distinct stages – from warehouses and expressways to a missile silo and ultimately, a desperate chase after a launched missile – engaging in intense shooting sequences against waves of enemies. Unlike earlier entries in the Operation Wolf series, this installment offers unlimited ammunition, allowing for sustained automatic fire as long as the trigger is held; however, an ammo meter regulates firing speed. Players can also utilize a limited supply of grenades to assist in clearing obstacles and eliminating threats. Periodic bonus rounds appear between main stages, presenting players with a shooting gallery challenge for extra points. The game features detailed visuals and energetic music driven by Yamaha sound hardware, creating a dynamic and engaging cooperative experience as agents work together to prevent global catastrophe.
