Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge (Europe 950316)
Capcom • 1995
Also known as: Vampire Hunter: Darkstalkers' Revenge

Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge is a two-player versus fighting game released by Capcom in 1995 for arcade use on their CPS-II hardware. Developed in Japan and initially released in Europe, players select from a cast of supernatural creatures – including Jon Talbain, Lord Raptor, Rikuo, Huitzil, and Hsien-Ko – to battle one another across uniquely themed stages. The gameplay emphasizes character-specific special moves and elaborate animations as fighters clash in close-quarters combat. This version represents an adaptation of the original Japanese release, “Vampire Hunter - Darkstalkers' Revenge [Green Board]”, with some content adjustments made for export; notably, expanded endings found in the Japanese edition were removed. The game runs on Capcom’s "CP System II" hardware platform and features a build date of March 16, 1995, marking its initial European release. Later revisions would see a United States version published shortly after. Subsequent ports brought Night Warriors to home consoles including the Sega Saturn in both North America and Europe, as well as appearing digitally on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as part of the “Darkstalkers Resurrection” compilation.
