Night Mare (Spain)

Navigate twisting mazes in Night Mare, a cooperative maze and collect game released in Spain by E.F.O. in 1982. Two players work together to gather items within the enclosed spaces while avoiding unseen dangers. The game's title varied depending on its intended market; it was known as "Clean Octopus" for distribution outside of Spain. Players must carefully coordinate their movements, as visibility is limited and obstacles can appear unexpectedly. Success depends on teamwork and a keen sense of direction to both secure the necessary collectibles and escape the maze’s confines. The gameplay presents a unique challenge requiring communication and precision from both participants. Night Mare represents a lesser-known offering in the early arcade landscape, demonstrating an interesting variation in title depending on regional distribution.
