New Sinbad 7 (set 1)

Navigate twisting labyrinths and battle robotic adversaries in New Sinbad 7, a cooperative maze shooter from ATW USA released in 1983. Two players control Sinbad characters as they work together to clear each stage of mechanical foes using directed blasts. Movement is controlled with an eight-way joystick, while a single button fires projectiles, requiring careful aiming and coordination between partners to survive the increasingly complex environments. The game's design emphasizes tight spaces and strategic positioning as players maneuver through the maze layouts. Each level presents new challenges and enemy patterns, encouraging teamwork and quick reflexes. New Sinbad 7 utilizes two Zilog Z80 processors for its gameplay and audio, supported by General Instrument AY8910 sound chips that provide a distinctive soundtrack to accompany the action. Originally released in November of 1982, this small-scale shooter offers a focused experience for up to two players seeking cooperative arcade action.
