SportStation: NBA Showtime NBA on NBC (ver 2.1, Sep 22 1999) / NFL Blitz 2000 Gold Edition (ver 1.5, Sep 22 1999)

SportStation combines two Midway sports titles into one cabinet experience: NBA Showtime and NFL Blitz 2000 Gold Edition. Released in 1999 for four players, this arcade game utilizes Midway’s Vegas hardware to deliver fast-paced basketball and football action. Players control their chosen teams using an eight-way joystick and three buttons, executing passes, shots, tackles, and touchdowns with quick reflexes. NBA Showtime offers over-the-top, exaggerated basketball gameplay centered on dynamic dunks and impressive plays. NFL Blitz 2000 Gold Edition ramps up the intensity of American football with a faster pace and strategic play calling. Both games provide competitive multiplayer experiences designed for arcade environments. The SportStation cabinet allows players to switch between the two sports titles, offering a diverse selection of gameplay styles within a single machine. Powered by an R5000 processor and DMA-driven sound chips, this game provides a vibrant visual and auditory experience representative of late 1990s arcade technology.
