SportStation: NBA Showtime NBA on NBC Gold Edition (ver 3.0, Feb 18 2000) / NFL Blitz 2000 Gold Edition

SportStation combines two Midway sports games into a single arcade experience: NBA Showtime and NFL Blitz 2000. Up to four players can compete in fast-paced basketball action with exaggerated dunks and trick shots, or tackle head-to-head football gameplay featuring over-the-top special moves and intense defensive plays. Released in the USA during October of 1999, this dual game cabinet utilizes Midway's Vegas hardware platform to deliver a vibrant visual presentation and dynamic sound effects. Players control their chosen teams using an eight-way joystick and three buttons for passing, shooting, or executing special abilities. The gameplay prioritizes quick reflexes and strategic team coordination in both basketball and football modes. This Gold Edition represents version 3.0 of the game's software, released in February 2000. SportStation provides a straightforward arcade sports experience designed for competitive multiplayer fun. With its two distinct sports offerings, it caters to a broad range of players seeking an accessible and energetic gaming challenge.
