My Hero is a two-player fighting game released in 1985 by Coreland, under license from Sega. This title originated as the Japanese release "Seishun Scandal" and represents an export version of that earlier game. Players control characters who engage in close-quarters combat with opponents on a 2D playing field; actions include punches and kicks to deplete an opponent's health bar. The game runs on Sega’s System 1 hardware. The gameplay involves maneuvering your chosen character across the screen, strategically blocking attacks while attempting to land blows of your own. It was released in July of 1985 and quickly ported to consoles, appearing on the Sega Master System later that same year. While developed in Japan, My Hero found its way into arcades throughout the United States offering a straightforward fighting experience for two players at once.
