Miss Puzzle
Min Corp. • 1994

Miss Puzzle is a two-player puzzle game released in 1994 by Min Corp., where players slide matching tiles across the screen to clear them. Tiles must be grouped in horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines of three or more to disappear, and when removed, other tiles shift into the newly created spaces. The goal is to prevent the playfield from filling up with an ever-increasing number of tiles as time progresses. Each stage features a timer that advances toward completion; successful clearing of the stage changes the background image. Players are given a single bomb per stage which can eliminate all tiles of one design at once, and this bomb can be carried over to subsequent levels. Failure occurs when the screen is completely filled with tiles. The game’s vertical display presents a resolution of 224 x 320 pixels, controlled by an eight-way joystick. It's worth noting that an alternate version of Miss Puzzle exists featuring adult content.
