Marvel Super Heroes (Europe 951024)
Capcom • 1995

Marvel Super Heroes is a two-player versus fighting game released by Capcom in 1995. Running on the CPS-II hardware platform, this title features a roster of recognizable Marvel characters battling it out in arena settings. Players select their favorite heroes and engage in head-to-head combat using a variety of special moves and attacks to deplete their opponent's health bar. The game originated from development work done in Japan, with both European and North American release versions published that same year. Though originally released as an arcade title, it later appeared on home consoles including the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation. A compilation titled Marvel vs. Capcom Origins included this game alongside other titles and was made available digitally for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and through online stores. This version of Marvel Super Heroes builds upon previous releases—particularly the original Japanese version known as “Marvel Super Heroes [Green Board]”—while maintaining a focus on accessible fighting action suitable for competitive play between two individuals.
