Mr. Driller G (Japan, DRG1 Ver.A)

Drill your way to victory in Mr. Driller G, a puzzle game released by Namco in 2001. Players control one of six selectable characters—Susumu Hori, Anna Hottenmeyer, and others—as they navigate vertically collapsing blocks, using a joystick to carve a path downwards. The goal is to drill through the layers before the block pile overwhelms you or your opponent. This installment expands on previous Mr. Driller games with both race and survival play modes. Two players can compete head-to-head in versus matches where character selection introduces strategic handicaps, adding a layer of skill beyond simply drilling quickly. The game runs on Namco’s System 10 hardware and is part of the popular Mr. Driller series. Whether you're playing competitively or solo, Mr. Driller G offers an engaging puzzle experience built around fast reflexes and careful planning.
