Mr. Dig
Sun • 2000

Mr. Dig is a two-player puzzle game released in 2000 by Sun. Players control characters who must dig their way through increasingly complex structures composed of falling blocks. The gameplay involves strategically clearing blocks to create pathways downwards while avoiding being crushed by the descending pile. It functions similarly to Namco’s Mr. Driller, but with a distinctive feature: additional block types appear throughout the levels, adding complexity and new challenges for players. Success depends on careful planning and quick reflexes as players work cooperatively or competitively—depending on their chosen mode—to navigate the ever-shrinking space. The game presents a continually escalating difficulty curve, requiring players to adapt to unpredictable patterns of falling blocks. It’s an engaging puzzle experience that rewards strategic thinking and precise execution. This title represents a Korean bootleg/hack version of the original Namco release.
