Motos is a unique puzzle game for two players where you pilot spacecraft tasked with clearing alien bugs from solar bases. Using a joystick to maneuver, players must bump these space creatures off the base to advance to new rounds. Strategic use of power-ups is key – collect parts during gameplay to enhance your ship’s bumping strength or gain the ability to jump over gaps in the platform, although only one jump part can be equipped per round. As time passes, Shooting Stars will begin to rain down upon the bases, adding an extra layer of challenge and potentially creating cracks and holes in the playing field. Players must carefully manage their power-ups and positioning while contending with increasingly formidable enemy types – from the relatively docile Red Pupa to the massive Giga - each presenting a new threat and scoring opportunity. The game’s attract mode features a distinctive title sequence, and a memorable musical piece plays during gameplay that cleverly re-appears as the ending theme after clearing round 62, offering a satisfying conclusion to this quirky arcade experience.
