Navigate twisting, neon-lit pathways in Maze of Flott, a cooperative maze and driving game released by Taito Corporation in 1989. Two players simultaneously control vehicles that must maneuver through complex environments filled with obstacles. The objective is to reach designated checkpoints while avoiding collisions and strategically utilizing the limited space within each maze. Players use eight-way joysticks and buttons to guide their vehicles, requiring precise coordination and communication between them. A Yamaha YM2151 and OKI MSM5205 sound chips contribute to the game's audio experience as players work together to overcome the challenges presented. The game’s visuals are rendered by a team of graphic designers including Hos, Kosuinen, Phazer.Koji, S. Miyakoshi, Ojyusan, and Wan2. Maze of Flott demonstrates Taito’s innovative approach to cooperative gameplay, blending driving mechanics with maze navigation for a unique arcade experience. Programmed by Myamya and Wanwan, the game features production credits from Akiyama.Sama, Usami.Sama, and Kuramochi.Sama along with sound design by K. Kusatu, Yasuhisa Watanabe, and S. Saitou.
