Metal Saver
First Amusement • 1994

Metal Saver is a cooperative platform game released in 1994 by First Amusement for arcade audiences. Players control either Hanbit or Narae, two fighters tasked with navigating a series of single-screen levels and defeating enemies to progress. Utilizing distinct skills, the duo must work together to overcome obstacles and challenges presented in each stage. The gameplay focuses on running, jumping, and attacking foes; similar to games like Snow Bros. Two players can simultaneously join forces, coordinating their actions for increased success against the game’s hazards and opponents. Metal Saver features a vibrant visual style and utilizes sound chips from Yamaha and OKI to deliver its audio experience. The game was developed in Korea and registered with the Korea Media Rating Board in March of 1994. A computer port, released for MS-DOS, followed shortly thereafter.
